Max Strom Way of Life Teacher Training - Building the Temple (Part 1)
January 25- February 3, 2009
This 200-hour Yoga Alliance training and study course is designed to instruct you in the fundamentals and subtleties of teaching Yoga as a system of transformation and healing, as a Way of Life.

The curriculum encompasses Max's vinyasa style yoga, anatomy of movement, sequencing, and both eastern and western philosophy. The practices and insights of this course will help you to deepen your own personal practice and encourage you to step into your place as a teacher with knowledge, confidence, and clear intention. Ultimately, it will change the way you see yourself and others as you gain greater understanding and wisdom. Students will find this training inspiring, practical and indispensable to their journey. Max's Way of Life will change your life.

The teacher training is comprised of four separate segments. Training segments can be done in any order with the exception of the Foundation segment, Building the Temple, which must be completed first. (Exceptions to this will be made for those who have graduated from Max's previous trainings.)

North Main Yoga's 200-Hour Teacher Training
We are a Registered Yoga School through Yoga Alliance. Training will be led by Liz and Brian with a few guest teachers- Max Strom, Sangita Devi, Jamie Elmer, Janice Batson, Emma Chandler & Caroline McIntyre. This is a thorough training that includes all aspects of yoga- physical and otherwise. This training was created by Liz and Brian based on the teachings of our teacher and the belief that yoga is about transformation, not simply the physical practice. Our hope is that you will leave with a thorough understanding of yoga and how to teach all students that may walk in the door.
